The Montreal Children’s Hospital “Pedal for Kids” Event |
Pedal for Kids is a volunteer event where employees representing their companies gather pledges and ride a special bicycle designed for 30 cyclists through Montréal’s downtown area. The Pedal for Kids fundraiser was launched in 1992 by two parents who wanted to create a program in memory of their child, who had received care at The Montreal Children’s Hospital.
McKesson Canada employees in the Montreal area have been participating in the Pedal for kids fundraiser for over 10 years. In 2006, McKesson Canada employees raised a record $55,000.

The Montreal Children’s Hospital Annual Ball Fundraiser |
Every year, a team of McKesson Canada employees devotes an entire weekend to create decorations for the Foundation’s Annual Ball. The decorations are then used to enhance the ball’s fundraising activities, and then are moved to the hospital to create a better atmosphere for the babies, children and youth being treated there.

McKesson Canada and its employees have participated in the annual United Way - Centraide fundraising Campaign since 1998.

Every year across Canada, McKesson Canada employees organize and participate in a number of events to raise funds for United Way - Centraide. Some of these activities include raffles, book sales, jeans days and payroll deductions.
