The AngelPoints Program |
The AngelPoints Program promotes employee participation at non-profit organizations by providing grants linked to individual volunteer involvement. Employees earn one AngelPoint for every hour of completed volunteer work. For every 50 hours (50 AngelPoints) of volunteer work completed per calendar year, a $250 grant is made to the employee's charity of choice, up to $1,000 per calendar year. In addition, employees who serve on the Board of Directors of a nonprofit organization are eligible for a $500 grant, for a maximum of $1,000 per year.
The Scholarship Programs |
The McKesson Foundation, through Scholarship America, sponsors 20 scholarships to children of McKesson Canada employees across Canada and the United States. These scholarships, ranging in size from $1,000 to $2,500, are awarded based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities and community involvement.
The McKesson Foundation also offers 50 scholarships annually to pharmacy students who are nominated by one of our pharmacy customers. To be eligible for a $1,000 McKesson Pharmacy Scholarship, the applicants must be the pharmacists' interns, children or grandchildren and be currently enrolled in an accredited school of pharmacy.

The Educational Matching Gifts Program |
Supporting educational institutions is important to the McKesson Foundation. The matching gifts program supports higher education by matching gifts made by employees and retirees to accredited educational institutions.
