    MD Buyline's Intelligence Report on Drug Dispensing gave McKesson Automation's products a nine out of 10 for User Satisfaction. MD Buyline, a market intelligence company which maintains online databases on medical technology and informatics products, prices and performance since 1983, evaluated vendors in six categories: system performance, system reliability, implementation, applications training, service response time, and service repair quality. McKesson scored the highest rating in every category.

  • December 2004
    McKesson received 12 KLAS Awards in the Top 20: 2004 Best in KLAS year-end report. KLAS Enterprises is an independent market intelligence organization for health technology that has created a database of performance information on 300 vendors and 500 products, as judged by executives and clinicians from more than 4,500 health care facilities. McKesson Canada's award-winning products were ranked among the top three for their categories, more than any other company ranked by KLAS Enterprises. Among the 12 awards received were two remarkable "Best in KLAS" Awards for first-place rankings, while AcuDose-Rx was named the Specialty Niche Category Leader for medication dispensing in its very first year. The ROBOT-Rx, which was also entered for the first time this year, also earned first-place in its category.

    McKesson Canada receive the Best of Show award at the Ontario Hospital Association Health Achieve 2004 Convention, the largest health-specific exhibit in Canada. McKesson Canada received the highest score for excellence in design, product display and knowledge of staff. McKesson Canada presented its hospital pharmaceutical distribution, automation and information solutions during the two-day event. This was the second consecutive year that McKesson Canada received this award.

  • December 2003
    The independent market intelligence organization for health care technology, KLAS Enterprises, gave three McKesson Information Solutions (MIS) products the highest ranking in their categories in the 2003 Best in KLAS Year-End Report. Three Horizon clinical products received the coveted first place ranking.

    The Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation (CCHSA) gave a McKesson Automation Solutions' customer a Good Practice accreditation for their robotic pharmacy. The Grand River Hospital in Kitchener, Ontario, brought automation into its pharmacy in 2001 using McKesson Canada's Acu-Dose and Robot-Rx systems. The CCHSA's accreditation process is extensive, involving more than a year of preparation gathering evidence and documentation.

  • June 2002
    McKesson Canada receive the OCTAS award in the Business Solutions category for PharmaClikTM, its innovative Internet-based order management system that allows pharmacies to place and manage their orders and returns online. It provides instant access to extensive product information and product availability, as well as purchase statistics. Since 1987, the Fédération de l'informatique du Québec (FIQ), hosts the OCTAS awards to recognize outstanding achievement in the Information Technology industry.

  • Spring 2002
    McKesson Canada is recognized for Outstanding Customer Service from Pharmaceutical Partners of Canada (PPC) in Western Canada. The recognition came as a result of a survey of hospital pharmacies across the country, where pharmacists were asked to rate customer service departments.
