Geneviève Fortier, M.A.,

Ms. Geneviève Fortier is Vice President, Human Resources,
Corporate Communications, Security and Six Sigma, McKesson Canada, and assumes
joint leadership of McKesson Canada's Six Sigma team. Ms. Fortier is in charge
of all activities related to human capital as well as internal and external
communications. In addition to overseeing all strategic initiatives aiming at
enhancing McKesson Canada's reputation and image, she is also responsible for
the elaboration and roll-out of all strategies and solutions required to
attract, develop and retain the best company talent, while ensuring the
security of people, facilities and the supply chain.
Prior to joining McKesson Canada in 2007, Ms. Fortier held several management
positions in the human resources field, notably with Reitmans Canada, Merck
Frosst Canada Ltd. and BioChem Pharma Inc.
Ms. Fortier currently sits on the Board of Directors of CHU Sainte-Justine,
where she notably serves as Vice President of the Board. She is a former
President of the Canadian Council of Human Resources Associations and former
Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Professional Corporation of Human
Resources and Industrial Relations Professionals of the Province of Quebec, a
position she held for several years.
Ms. Fortier was awarded the PRIX DE L'ACADÉMIE DE LA PERFORMANCE™ for her
leadership and outstanding contribution to the human resources field. In 2006,
she also received the MERIT AWARD from the Quebec Interprofessional Council for
her contributions to the development and promotion of the human resources
profession in the Province of Quebec.
Ms. Fortier holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in industrial
relations from Laval University in Quebec City.
